Liverpool Recycle - The Liverpool Recycle group is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate too! The main rule is that everything posted must be FREE. Liverpool Recycle is part of the Freegle organisation, a network of groups dedicated to keeping anything reusable out of landfill sites. Liverpool World Centre - Liverpool World Centre (LWC) is a locally run and registered charity, a member of the Development Education Association (DEA). Established in September 2000, LWC aims to raise awareness of the interdependence of communities locally and globally through, for example, trade, food, culture, labour, impacts on the climate and the environment. It played a major role in the successful campaign to achieve Fair Trade City status for Liverpool. In addition to projects working with schools councils and the Liverpool Schools Parliament, LWC is setting up a Global Education Resource Centre, and has recently appointed a temporary administrator to assist in this endeavour and to support its other project workers generally.
Organic Direct - Organic Direct can deliver fresh organic fruit and vegetables to your door. We deliver on a Wednesday or Thursday throughout Merseyside, and there is no delivery charge. The set bags start from only £5 and you can choose to have either fruit or vegetables or a combination. Alternatively, you can place your own specific order. There is a 50p packing charge for this.
