by Beryl Wade
£8.75   paperback  Countyvise (2007)

Storm Over the Mersey by Beryl Wade Storm Over the Mersey is Beryl's first publication about her childhood in Liverpool during the war years 1939-45. She gives a vivid description of events from a child's point of viewpoint and brings to life the horror and traumas of that time, while still managing to portray the well-known Liverpool sense of humour.
Beryl Wade was born and brought up in Liverpool and now lives in Bebington. She is a member of "Scottie '83" Writer's Workshop and enjoys writing short stories and scripts. Beryl has written five scripts for the BBC Radio Merseyside 'soap' "The Merseysiders" and these were all broadcast last year.
