Goodison Park Voices: Recollections of Supporters

by David Paul - £9.99  Tempus Publishing (1999)
paperback    ISBN 13: 9780752415482 | ISBN 10: 0752415484

As one of the greatest clubs in the country, Everton FC has a past its fans can be proud of. This book collects the memories of those supporters, both young and old. It is not a complete history of the club, but a rich assortment of anecdotes as told by the fans in their own words.

All of the stories in this book are true accounts that have been collected in tape-recorded interviews and transferred to the page. Together they portray the passion and commitment of those who love the Goodison Park Club and reflect the tragedies and triumphs as they have been experienced by the fans. Many of the photographs have come from the people who are telling the stories. They show the Evertonians on the terraces, travelling to away matches, celebrating their team's successes and proudly showing their colours.

All fans of 'The Toffees' will enjoy sharing the memories recorded here and in doing so will recall many more of their own.
